Automating Google Calendar Invites to Event Registrants

Instead of sending an automated e-mail with a .ics calendar invite, I would like to automate a Google Calendar invite from myself for an event someone has registered for. Their Salesforce Campaign status would change to "registered," but I have not been able to find any integration to automate this.

Has anyone successfully accomplished this or have any ideas?

I don't understand why Marketo can't support Gcal events...it's very annoying! When I've had to put calendar invites on landing pages, in emails, etc., I've used addtocalendar.com ​to create the links. You can (and should) create a program token and use that in your assets.
