I need to create campaigns to notify our clients when they are 60 days our from renewal, and then again when they are 30 days out from renewal (if they haven't renewed by then). Can anyone provide tips/best practices of how to set this up? I'm also curious if this should be done as a nurture campaign, default campaign, etc.

It depends on where the data is stored. How do you know their renewal date? Is it on the contact object, the account, the opportunity, a custom object, etc?
