Auto-populating fields in external landing page

Does anyone know how, in a form on an external landing page, you can have the fields autopopulate with a person's previous answers? I read through an article posted about it but it didn't quite work and would love any insight anyone might have.

For the time being, the only way to do this is to embed an iframe on your external page that points to a Marketo landing page with the form you're intending to use on it.

Murtza, yes that is the article I was referencing. I worked on it with one of our developers and we just kept running into issues getting the fields to show up. Not quite sure what we are missing...

If you use the iframe technique, this is possible. You create a basic page in marketo, add a form, then use the iframe command on your external page to bring in the first page.

Otherwise if you embed a form on an external page, the prefill and progressive profiling will not work. It might be possible to use jquery to do this, but you'd have to speak with a developer.
