I am trying to create a responsive email template but it does not seem to be supported. The system wants to just comment out any inline CSS that is suppose to make the email responsive.

Yes, it works in Marketo emails. I find that it only gives an error if you upload the HTML straight to the email. If you put all the CSS code in an email template first, you won't get an error.
