Hey -- I'm trying to track a change in a lead's status by the initial lead owner. We assign leads to two people in Marketo, and then they pass them along to the right owner. I'd like to have the ability to track the amount of leads that were converted by the first owner. Can anyone think of a way to do this in Marketo? I realize that there is a way to do it in Salesforce, but you'd have to set up a lead history APEX and, while I can do that, it won't allow me to track transgression retroactively - just going forward.
Create a field: Initial Lead Owner that is stamped when Lead Owner Email Address becomes NOT EMPTY. This would occur on the sync back after the first assignment from Marketo.
Test it though, you may need a wait step to let SFDC sync it back to Marketo before stamping the email.
