Any way to retain 'unknown user' history when filling out Eventbrite form?

I've embedded an eventbrite reg form for an in-person event, but I notice I lose all tracking from the browser session before the conversion. Anyone have experience with retaining that for ROI purposes?

Is the registration form on a different domain from the one you're tracking with Munchkin? Can you point to the URL that has this form on it?

it's embedded on our page with an iframe, then eventbrite syncs to SFDC and SFDC to Marketo -- but I lose the data in between.

you can see it here:  spigit.com/ignite#register

This isn't going to work with the "classic" (IFRAME/new window) embed because there's no way to share data across the domains. You'd have to switch to the embedded checkout widget, which can call back into Marketo with information that can then be re-posted.

I didn't even know that was an option! Looking into it now. So if I use the embed code (looks like a new addition to their offering), then do I need to do anything additional to link them back together?

Well, yes. You need the callback option to then pass data back to the page, add it to a Marketo form, and submit it.

you make it sound so easy - but I have no idea what you're saying. Any help docs or blog posts you can point me to to illustrate?

As always - appreciate the assistance!!

It's kind of hard to show without a sample event (that doesn't cost $$$ to sign up for).

If you create a page with a free event and the embed checkout code, I can show you more.
