Re: Any specific recommendation on Chat solutions integrated with Marketo?

Already looked at available solutions on Launchpoint. Also looked for available integrations with other solutions (such as Zendesk Chat). Basically, looking for a non-expensive tool that allows to create a new lead from a new use of the chat tool, and registers a summary of the conversation into a custom marketo field, that could then be synced to the CRM if needed. In a near future, it might also be required to create a path of custom fields to record all related conversations from a repeat visit lead, so the first conversation doesn't get overridden.

Any suggestions from anyone's experience?

Thanks

Are you opposed to Olark? Its JS API allows it to use the Marketo Forms API.

If you are looking at chat solutions you need to look at Intercom. Drift is also a really popular one. We've been using Intercom for a few years now and love it.

Hey Pierce,

Would love to hear more about your setup. I'm about to do the same thing for a client.

HI Sanford, do you know of any helpful posts or guides that show someone who's not super technical to use Olark's JS API to leverage the Marketo Forms API?

I kept searching and found this article.  I hope its safe and performant - going to give it a go.

Nope, not safe, not performant, not using the Forms API -- don't use it.

Will look deeper into it, it was in fact one of the options but probably very much overlooked by me. Thanks Sanford!
