Anonymous leads - Company info

​Hello all,

I have a question regarding the "anonymous leads" part. Why  sometimes ther is not any info regarding the name of the company in this section?

There isn't any way to put info into the Company/Account object for anonymous leads. As Stijn Heijthuijsen​ said, inferred company will pull data if the IP being connected through passes that data over. It all depends on the network--some will share that info while others won't, or some people will be working from home or from Starbucks.

Hi Julien,

The infered company is based on the IP of the visitor. Not all leads are on a known (corporate) network. Some of them visit from home or through a mobile network. In these cases it's difficult for Marketo to infer the lead's company name.
