Alert E-mail Question

Hi Everyone,

I have a situation, I would like to know how to track a link of an alert that I've sent to a sales rep.

This is the situation: I have to send an alert to a sales rep but in the e-mail they need to click on an specific link, how I can track or see what link they clicked it?

Thank you,

Adriana Victoria

Re: Alert E-mail Question

Hi Adriana,

It's simple. Follow the following steps:

  • Under Smart List tab use Clicks Link in Email trigger.
  • Select the email which has the links
  • Click on Add Constraint and then click on Link
  • Copy paste the links you want to track in the dialogue box

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Re: Alert E-mail Question

Hi Kristen,

I already did that but it didn't work. The e-mail is an alert to the lead.owner, so I don't know how to track the clicks on link when its a lead.owner person.

Do you know what I mean?

Thank you!

Hi Adriana,

What sort of link are you sending them? Is it to the lead record in Salesforce?

Re: Alert E-mail Question

Hi Adriana,

You could add a program channel step that changes their status when they click on the link in the email, then have a smartlist or list populated with those that have clicked on the link; that might be the best way to make this activity measurable but scalable.
