Agencies for email and landing page templates

I am interested in references of agencies that build email and landing page templates.  Specifically email and landing pages that are graphically/visually fresh but are also easy to modify, view well on all browsers and are optimized for mobile.  Any suggestions?

This response is three years late ... stumpbled upon this while searching for something else.

We HIGHLY recommend the email and landing page templates from Knak.

You need to provide the designer the limits of what Marketo pages can do. Make sure the person coding it has the html from a Blank Marketo LP Template.

Make sure they know the DIV tags needed for editable sections.

I agree with Edward that you need to constrain the designer to make a page that isn't too fancy.

Personally, I go with any small agency that has experience with landing pages and can code+design a page to your needs.

Marketo can do this for a fee. Most small graphic/web shops can help you. Or you can have a firm like LeadLizard, Pedowitz, LeadMD, etc. handle this for you.

You can also check out the Marketo Launchpoint site. There are agency-managed services from Marketo partners listed there. In terms of designs and resulting products for the handoff, just make sure you have a result that a team can deal with. Some designs are downright difficult to replicate and then change/update in Marketo's editor itself. Responsive Marketo landing pages can be difficult to create/maintain as well, since the WYSIWYG editor isn't quite designed for it.

I would say, you can contact a design firm and have them create you the emails and landing pages. I would avoid using a web firm to create the design because I prefer the eye of design firms.

From there, the design firm can hand off the PSD/AI files to a web firm. From there they can code the page to Marketo's specification.

Hope this helps.
