adding someone to an active drip campaign

So for my trial subscription drip campaign there's 5 different email messages.  The flowsteps have a wait step of after this date and time, send trial 2. Then a wait step of after this date and time, send trial 3, etc. and the last  step just removes them from the flow and they get added to another list.  So if someone missed the cut off period from when I activated the drip campaign, can I still add them, but I want them to receive the trial 1 email and not the other ones?

Re: adding someone to an active drip campaign

how did you setup the original entry system? Is it a trigger? Traffic cop?

You can probably setup a quick Flow Step (or batch campaign) to add the person to the initial flow using Request Campaign (if that campaign is listening) or to Add to List for a list that will be scanned for people to send to.

Re: adding someone to an active drip campaign

Hi Josh,

It's definitely not a trigger. The leads signed up from the website and the lead record is created in Marketo. Our data person has to then clean up the entry in SFDC, and enter the information into multipub (subscription database), then an upsert syncs over to Marketo (double record is created).  The smart list will then be updated with the new trial subscribers, and I activate the drip campaign, and the lead goes through a flow.  It's a 5 week flow for a trial subscription (a weekly publication).  I hope that makes sense.
