Why do many records in my list still have a status of "send email" even though it has been 48+hours since it has been sent?

Can you provide more information about your email program and status setup? Since statuses must be set up in Smart Campaigns, it's tough to say without seeing what you have going on.

Hi Lauren, I have a similar situation. Email was set up to go out to 116 people on Tuesday. It's now Thursday and exactly half are still sitting in "Send Email"
My smart list is very simple: Member of List "XYZ" and Flow is Send Email "XYZ"
Any insight is much appreiciated!
You should file a support ticket for that immediately so it can be reviewed. My guess is that there is a very good reason for the results you are seeing but it shouldn't be ignored. Please follow up with our support team.
Sasha Tchulkova are you saying Marketo is still processing the work flow to send to the remaining 58 people or that it failed to send to them? For such few people it seems odd that Marketo would have a hard time processing that. Check your Campaign Queue and see if it's in there. I'd contact Marketo support.
If the send simply failed for 58 people, double check that communication limits were not the cause. Also make sure they weren't blocked for any other reasons.
Send Email is logged by Marketo when the campaign hits that flow step for the lead. If you a running a campaign with large #s of leads, the actual time the email goes out into the internet can be tracked more closely by the "delivered email" event. Especially if there is a lot of email scripting, tokens, dynamic content, etc. you'll see time discrepancy.
