Can you a/b test a landing page in an email? Or divide the send up to get two different landing pages?
Yes. Create Whole Email A/B testing for your emails and make sure that you declare the 2 different landing pages that it guides the leads to.
EG.
Email A has a CTA that goes to www.somethinga.com
Email B has a CTA that goes to www.somethingb.com
Hi Elizabeth,
Are you trying to 1/establish a test to compare 2 different CTA's or 2/is it 1 CTA that could bring either the lead to 1 LP or another?
If 1/ just create an A/B full email tests, as suggested by Jim.
If 2/ this is a landing page A/B test. You will get 1 URL and Marketo will randomly display 1 LP or the other and report on which one works best.

Thank you Greg. I can't do an a/b test because it's a drip campaign so i have wait steps to fire off email 2 and so on. I did come across the landing page test on Friday and was contemplating that. I have never done that before can i did that in a regular email blast?
The point of this test is to determine which landing page performs better, there will be 1 CTA in the email and I wanted to have half the emails go to one landing page half go to another and see which landing page has more form fills.
What are you thoughts on that?
Hey Elizabeth, given your goals I would say that a Landing Page Test Group definitely makes the most sense. It looks like you found them the other day, but in case you need the Marketo guide it's here: Landing Page Test Groups - Marketo Docs - Product Docs
Thank you Dory. Do you know what the primary purpose of the test group is?
Basically it just routes people to version A or version B of a landing page. You can choose a winner and continue to iterate on your page designs, as well.
It is the possibility to have 2 LP's sharing the same URL and being displayed alternatively and randomly when someone accesses the URL.
Once the A/B test group is set, the test group get's a URL (which is the URL of the first LP you had created) and you just need to add this URL to the CTA in your email.
To create a test group, create a first LP, then right click it and right clik it, the "convert to test group" menu item. Do this before approving the LP. Once the group is created, you will be abel to right click it and add some additional LP's ("New tested page" menu).
Once all the pages are done, you will have to approve the test group.

How do we add the test group to the program to deploy? Is there a way to test the group?
