I have a triggered campaign set up to A/B test 2 emails. Looking at the stats, it seems that the challenger email is not being sent.
What could be the reasons that this is happening? - we have done the same for testing subject lines and it has worked fine.
We have seen instances where more than 1 triggered campaign sending the same email with a champion challenger test has caused problems. But in this instance it is 1 smart campaign sending the email.
Any help would be appreciated
Hi Veronica,
The scenario you are talking about is related to some Error in the Triggered Campaign and to look into the error we need to check the campaign. It would helpful if you share the screen shots of the smart Campaign used to send the email. You can always drop me an email to further queries.

Jagbir Singh
The smart campaign itself is triggered by the campaign being requested (along with other filters)
The flow sends the email based on a choice, otherwise no email is sent:
After that there there is a wait step, changes to program statuses, another wait step and a different campaign being requested.
Any ideas what might be causing this?
Cheers
Veronica
Hi Veronica,
I am not comfortable with the fact or having a choice in a flow steps that sends an A/B test. I should work but...
Try setting a filter to you smart campaign instead and remove the choice.
Second, can you please provide also screenshots on how the A/B Challenger test is set up?

Hi Greg,
Interesting you mention the choice in a flow step as I wondered if this could be the culprit.
Above is the set up for the A/B test - does this provide the information you need to see?
- Veronica
HI Veronica,
This seams OK and 50% of the people who qualify for the choice should receive it.
Check that the challenger email is approved.
And try filtering out the leads in the smart list of the campaign rather than with a choice (who knows)

Hi Veronica,
The screenshot that you have shared is describing that a Campaign is Requested and a Email is sent based on the criteria mentioned there, but it would be great if you can share the initiating campaign screenshots that was used for A/B Testing and which campaign would be requesting the campaign you have mentioned above.
The error according to me till now would be that, you are requesting a campaign and forcefully sending the email mentioned above.
Thanks
Jagbir Singh
HI Veronica,
As said by Jagbir, we will need screenshots on how the A/B test and the smart campaign are configured.
