I was able to login to the Summit app, and a few hours later the app has completely stopped working. When I try to open the app it errors out, and closes. Has anyone with an Android device had the same experience?

I ended up getting a new phone. I got a Samsung Galaxy s7, and the 2nd day of the Summit the app stopped working.
My Note 5 is working great!
That sucks! It wasn't too bad on the s5 this year, but definitely lagged. I'd get a notification that someone had commented, and I couldn't actually see the comment for several minutes. Frustrating when you're trying to arrange a regional meet up!
I had the same happen this morning when I tried to access things.

Yeah mine keeps failing and I have to uninstall and reinstall it. Frustrating but at least it fixes it for a few days.
Yes, I guess uninstalling and reinstalling is the only solution
I have tried that option. i was able to open the able and then it crashed. I think it maybe my type of phone. I have Galaxy Note Edge, so it may not work at all.

Ugh... Just had to do the uninstall/reinstall. Not a huge fan of the android experience on Galaxys!!
My fingers are crossed that maybe it will be stable during the Summit.
Both last year and this year, I felt like the app was flaky on Android. (Samsung Galaxy S5 here)
