We’re seeking a well-rounded marketer with experience crafting lead generation programs that drive results. The Marketing Manager is responsible for strategy development and execution of marketing programs to create demand for Great Bay Software’s solutions and drive revenue growth. This role will own creation of all aspects of lead generation initiatives including email campaigns, webinars, trade shows, events and the content strategy to support these programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPECTATIONS
This role is tasked with the following core responsibilities:
Drive email campaign strategies
- Determine campaigns, create outlines, craft emails and identify calls to action
- Build and execute all elements of campaigns using Marketo marketing automation software
- Provide direction to freelancers and agencies to develop campaign copy and downloadable content such as articles and videos
- Provide guidance and training to account development and sales teams on usage of campaigns and appropriate message positioning
- Procure targeted lists and manage database to utilize for email campaigns
- Continually test campaign effectiveness based on segmentation, messaging and conversion to refine and improve response rates
Create and deliver monthly webinar series
- Identify topics and speakers
- Work with presenters and topic experts to create presentations
- Set up logistics of webinars
- Develop strategy to recruit registrants and nurture leads generated from webinars § Moderate webinar sessions
Plan and execute trade shows and events
- Identify trade shows to attend
- Select and negotiate contract terms with vendors
- Set up logistics for events
- Create event agendas and content
- Develop and execute event promotion plans
Manage vendor programs and technologies
- Marketo
- Docalytics
- Vidyard
- Content syndication programs
- Advertising
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Candidate must have bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications, entrepreneurship or related specialization
- A minimum of seven to 10 years of experience in a B2B marketing role with progressive responsibility
- Extensive experience developing sophisticated nurture programs with Marketo or another marketing automation software
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a high volume of projects
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop programs from the ground up
- Ability to work across the organization, build partnerships and foster a collaborative work environment
- High level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently without a lot of guidance
- Software/technology industry experience preferred
