when cloning operational emails keep the operational setting on

When cloning operational emails, the setting for the operational email should be checked. We have several operational emails for publications distribution to our paid subscribers and we have editors who have to click on the operational setting all the time whenever they clone these emails and it's easy to forget that step.

It would be great if all of the preferences of the email were saved! It would also be helpful in smart campaigns with communication limits. When I clone, I want an actual clone!

Great points.  If you clone an object and certain settings revert to the default values, it's not a clone of that object.

Strange that that doesn't work.  I believe if you clone those assets via cloning a program, the settings will be retained. Maybe a workaround for the time being...
