Currently, the ootb Marketo function to send sample emails to multiple users internally will send the TEST email to each individual user with no mention of the user who initiated the sample, who else received it, or what they should be looking at specifically. Since there are often multiple parties working on any related campaign, I often need to send out sample emails to multiple people to give them a heads up of imminent blasts.
It is frustrating and time-consuming to have to send a separate email to each user (either pre-emptively or as a follow-up) to explain the email, what to look at, and where to direct feedback.
To avoid this, I will always send myself the sample email, then forward it through my email to the necessary colleagues wo need to see it.
Can the send sample email functionality be changed so that instead of sending multiple emails, the system sends out one email to the multiple users specified in the form, and also allow for the initiating party to add comments about the sample email they received?
In my experience, the current Send Sample functionality has created a lot of internal confusion - I've had people forward me feedback on campaigns I am not working on, or had to hunt down the user who is testing out a problematic email.
Has anyone else had issues with this feature?
