Resend Confirmation Emails through GoToWebinar

I've recently set up an integration with GoToWebinar. I have set it up so that registration is through a Marketo form and Marketo is used to send invitations and registration confirmation emails.
 
I was testing the ability to use the resend confirmation email through GTW for instances in which emails are blocked from Marketo (i.e. email address is marked suspended in Marketo). 
 
I discovered that in GTW, if you turn off the feature to automatically send confirmation emails upon registration, it does not allow you to resend the confirmation emails through GTW if the Marketo email is blocked. 

The workaround is to turn on the automatic setting, and then resend. However, it would be great if the integration could be set up in a way that allows the resend confirmation email feature in GoToWebinar to override that automatic send setting (which is the case with ReadyTalk, another webinar event partner).

I would first find out why the email addresses are being blocked. If the addresses are bad email addresses that have been blocked, I would avoid attempting to send emails to them. If the block is because the person has been flagged as unsubscribed, perhaps changing the emails to operational in Marketo would take care of that.

I make my confirmation emails operational. I think that even if someone isn't interested in recieving my normal communications, if they register for a webinar they've implicitally requested one time to be added.

I do make my confirmation emails operational. However, operational emails will not override a marketing suspended flag.

Our internal networks have some pretty intense spam filters, and it will often block Marketo emails, marking me in the database as marketing suspended. While this will be a rare circumstance with our leads, it is still something I prepare for when sending out invitations; if someone can register, they can't attend without the confirmation email. 

The workaround I noted above works to resend the confirmation through GoToWebinar. But in ReadyTalk, the resend confirmation feature works without having to turn on the automatic send setting.

Having spoken with GTW support, this is something that Marketo could work with their integration team on.

Hey, Think you're slightly mincing terms, Marketing Suspended & Email Suspended.

Right where you click on "Operational Email" it says 'bypasses Unsubscribe/Marketing suspended'

How were you able to get your confirmation/registration emails to only send in Marketo?  I'm running into the issue of not being able to bypass the confirmation emails in GoToWebinar.  I would really prefer all webinar emails be sent from Marketo.

Any help on this?  Driving me crazy!
