We need this, ASAP. It's available when sending emails through smart campaigns and it's hard to want to use the new email program while it still has important components missing.
You can schedule the email to run almost immediately. You can also overwrite the selections in the drop-down to get a more precise time. Why does this prevent you from using the feature?
Hi Cheryl, We have had massive issues with scheduling the new email program to run almost immediately. Setting them 5 minutes out doesn't seem to work (the time passes without the email being sent). Sometimes the same thing happens when we set them 10 and even 15 minutes out - the time passes and the email doesn't start to send (we've even tried leaving them overnight but they still don't send). The schedule feature is great for setting something to go at a later time, but a send now button would be a much better option for 99% of our email program use cases. Let me know if this is something we need to chase down with support, we can provide examples of the programs not firing if that's helpful. Thanks!
Hey Sheila, we heard back from support about this. Recommendation was "allow at least 5 minutes if not more, but more if your smart list settings are more complex (10 minutes is is safe)" when scheduling an email in those programs. Definitely good to know! A Send Now option would still be extremely helpful so there isn't any uncertainty or delay once campaigns are ready to go.
