Opportunity Influence Analyzer Updates

We recently implemented the Opportunity Influence Analyzer in SFDC. I think it is a great tool and we really like the fact it pulls in the "no role" people that are tied to the Account, not necessarily the Opportunity.

But, what I think would make this tool even more valuable, would be if it pulled in "no role" people not just based on the Account, but was smart enough to pull in people based on email domain and/or company name.

This would give sales a completely holistic view into what is in the system, who they might have missed/overlooked tying to the Account, and achieve greater visibility into everyone who is active from that company (which they currently have no way of doing today).

Can you use the opportunity influence analyzer if you do not have access to RCA?

We added an Account lookup field on our Leads and populate it based on the email domain.  We also added a Leads (Account) related list to the Account record, which allows our reps to see Leads that are associated with an Account.

Elliott - I love that you have a work around to the Leads Associated with an Account issue...I'm betting though that i can't do this as we only have Professional (SFDC) and not Enterprise.  Before I go play around with it, I thought I'd ask if you think this can only be accomplished if you have an Enterprise account?

Good question Jodi - Marketo no longer has Professional and Enterprise editions, they now have Standard and Select.  I'm guessing that Professional would likely translate to the Standard edition, and from their edition comparison page (table width="100%"), it looks like you should be able to do this, but but you should check with tech support or your customer success person to determine what features

Thanks Elliott, I actually meant Professional edition of Salesforce, not Marketo.  We are unfortunately only on Professional. I miss Enterprise which is the edition most everyone caters to when integrating with Salesforce.

Joid, sorry for my confusion - you were clear in your original post that you meant SFDC Profiessional 

I'm not familiar with that edition and don't know if you can associate Leads with Accounts via a related list in it.
