Error notifications from Marketo that we have been getting are like this (we get one or two every week):
Salesforce Sync Error
Why: Marketo is unable to add leads to one or more Salesforce campaigns.
Error details: Failed: INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS_ON_CROSS_REFERENCE_ENTITY: insufficient access rights on cross-reference id
What to do now?
Contact your Salesforce admin for further troubleshooting.
There is not enough information provided in this error notifications for me (the Salesforce Admin for our company) although the message says to contact me.
One time this happened before, we got information from a support person with the Campaign Name/ID and the Lead/Contact ID of the record with the problem.
Why isn't that information included in the notification, it's available?
With the Campaign Name/ID and the Lead/Contact ID I can investigate, without it, I can't investigate.
I am suggesting that more detail is added to the Error Notifications like Campaign Name/ID and the Lead/Contact ID.
