More easily clone assets, smartlists, etc. between partitions

We use multiple partitions (multiple business units) but would like to easily share programs, smartlists, assets, etc.  Now, I need to clone it over to my partiion in design studio or lead database, move it to the global defaut, and clonne everything back over to marketing activities.  There's got to be an easier way!

In addition, if I have to clone something, I'd like the asset (or smartlist, etc) name to be prepopulated so I don't have to retype it each time I re-clone it.

Yep,  I too have noticed the difficulty in bulk-cloning and bulk-deleting.
Hopefully it's something they're working on.

With pre-populatnig the names of a clone... I think this might be difficult for Marketo to implement, b/c all these snippets/items exist on a database somewhere... and I bet that each instance of a name must be unique, even if its in a separate folder.

But... if it could pre-populate with a slightly different name, such as by having the suffix "- Clone"  similar to how when you copy a file on your computer, it is suffixed with "- Copy" or prefixed with "Copy of"....  or, if you could clone it and then be prompted to set up and apply a new naming convention, that would be perfect!

I like this idea.  It looks like several people have had similar ideas.  If they would merge them, the numbers might appear higher as to the number of people who would like to see this.
