If/Then Conditional Tokens in Emails

If/Then Conditional Tokens in Emails

We have a form that starts by asking a lead what type of inquiry they're submitting. Based on their selection, a new dropdown may appear. For example:

Inquiry Type: Demo Request
(new dropdown appears asking)
Type of Demo Request: Product A | Product B

It would be great to be able to have the the sales rep alert emails include the "Type of Demo Request" token ONLY if the lead selected the "Demo Request" inquiry type. Essentially, an if/then statement is needed.

I'm sure there's lots of other reasons the community would use conditional tokens in emails.

Thanks!

Keller,

Alternatively, you could use a formula field to accomplish this, but agree that there should be the ability to use segmentation and database fields together.

Thanks for the heads up, Charlie! Still would love to see conditional tokens, but that formula field option is new to me and seems quite useful!

If I could vote on this 100 times, I would. We have so many use cases for this feature. Silverpop has this functionality...just saying...
