Email to Company distribution list

I have used Marketo to create emails to send externally (customers) via our salesforce database. However, i have recently been asked to include employees in all of our mailings. We do not have every single employee in our salesforce database. I would like to use our company distribution list email address. Is this possible? Please help!

yes, created a new lead, don't sync it to salesforce, only create it in Marketo and use the distribution list for the record's email address

We also created a checkbox called IsStaff - so anyone who is internal gets this flagged so we can exclude from future lists, even SFDC synchs such as at MQL. You can also have a smart campaign that looks at your domain and automatically sets them up.

Thank you Sierra! How would I now add that new lead (probably only marketo one) into the smart properly?

I usually upload the entire employee list to "My List" and set to not sync to Salesforce. If I need to send emails to employees, I set the smart list to Member of  List >> Employees.
