Hi, It would be very useful to get analytics data what devices are emails opened with. So we could see how our emails are working f.ex. desktop vs tablet vs mobile and are most users really using mobile in our case.
Hi Miikka, you can report on who opens on mobile by using the filter "Opened Email" and then adding a constraint of Is Mobile Device, Device, Platform, or Browser.
Not quite as nice as having the information available without filtering, but at least you can still get to it.
Hi Dory, Great advice thank you, I didn't know that the data existed at all. This helps me a lot, next step then should be adding the data to reports. So we could see that f.ex. 300 opened email, 150 mobile, 100 desktop, 50 tablet. So we don't have to do multiple reports to see the percentage of mobile users and data.
We've been using Litmus to track device and location info. Highly recommend. It would be nice is this kind of info was built into the Marketo platform.
