Easy text formatting - Copy Paste Style button

This idea isn't for me. It's my colleagues who aren't as into editing emails.

Sometimes when they are working there will be a bit of text for whatever reason (coughcopyingfromwordcough) or using a table, that won't be formatted the same as the other body copy. What would be awesome is if they could select a word that was correctly formatted. Press a button to 'save' the formatting. Then highlight the texts to be updated, and 'paste' the formatting onto that text instead. Font Size, Color, Line Spacing, etc, all easily copied from the correctly formatted text to the incorrectly formatted.

I'd open the HTML, remove the strange formatting, and move on with life. But not everyone feels comfortable doing that, and this would be a super help to those with less confidence.

So sort of like the format painter functionality in word? I love the idea, though I have a feeling it's probably pretty tricky, because I think Marketo's WYSIWYG isn't homegrown. In any case, you've got my vote!

I am pretty sure Marketo uses a version of this editor.  It does not have that functionality by default, but there may some sort of 3rd party plugin for that editor that would provide that functionality.  However, Marketo would need to initialize the plugin for the editor on the backend.

Does this idea need a bump? Because it would be extremely helpful to have this functionality. I have found that Marketo takes liberties with the formatting even if it's copied from notepad. That should be as pure text as Windows offers, but the editor inserts it with a random font, font size, and spacing.
