It'd be very helpful if we could change the email template while we're editing the email. Now I think it's only possible to copy/paste text since you can't clone an email and change its template at the same time.
if you edit the template of an exisiting email or LP it will toss the email or LP in draft mode. This allows you to edit the template especially if you have changes to HTML. Then just approve the email or LP and it's all updated. Don't for forget to approve the templates as well.
Thanks for the response. I'm not trying to edit the current template, but simply swap it out for another. I already have another template in Marketo I'd like to use (based on our rebranding), so all I'm trying to do is a quick swap. It seems like the current way to do this is pretty arduous.
Can you swap your other templates HTML and replace it with the existing? That seems like an interm solution until Marketo creates a switch template button.
