As an Admin there should be a way to delete a Field out of the Org--not just hide it, but delete it so the Org Admin users no longer see something that should not be there in the first place.
Of course all records should have a NULL value in that field before it's removed, but as a Admin user if something was created on accident currently there has to be a way allowing it to go away completely. Even when fields are Hidden, if you search for Keywords those fields still show up in search and you shouldn't have to live with it forever.
