Currently the clients ( admins ) are able to create leads custom fields in Marketo's Admin >> Field Management. Would be nice to give them the same capability on the "company" as well as "opportunity" objects.
Right now it's really a hassle for Support when we get requests from customers requesting custom company or opportunity fields. It would be great if this were an option for customers who weren't synced with a supported CRM integration. As we build out the APIs, it's becoming even more important that we make this scalable.
Is it possible for Marketo to explain the "why" behind why this isn't a part of the product? It creates massive reporting headaches not being able to pull in columns for custom objects.
This is really needed for customers that do not have a native CRM sync and plan to use the API's instead, especially now that we have the API for the Company Object and the Opportunity Object.
