It would be nice to be able to clone segmentations so we don't have to start from scratch everytime we create one.

Not quite a clone, but you can share segmentation across workspaces and lead partitions:

I see this comment is from 2 years ago - has any progress been made?

I need to input the 57 some-odd countries in the AMER region for every campaign. Marketo, PLEASE. What is taking so long? This is a terrible user experience.

I think you should open a new Idea that's specific to RTP, because I don't think this one is pertinent to your particular case (it's about non-RTP segmentations).
