Add Snippets/Tokens at Template Level

Add Snippets/Tokens at Template Level

We would like to be able to add Snippets or Tokens at the template level.

For example, we have many email templates, but all use the same copyright section. Would be great to be able to use a common token or snippet that is used across all of them. If this was the case, we could update the copyright year in one spot, rather than across each template individually. Similar functionality for landing page templates would be great.

Can't believe this doesn't work already.

I know! I should be able to have a folder in the Design Studio that has tokens that can be applied to anthing I want -- {{global. My Token Name}}. This would make the interface cleaner and my life so much easier.

For us this would be helpful because we send emails globally and would like to put in snippets that could replace the local company addresses in the footer.

I got around this limitation by moving everything into one folder. So you can keep your existing folder structure but move it under a "Global" folder where you can put tokens.

@Bryce D - So your templates live along side your programs in the marketing activities section?

No but let me give an example:

In the template I put {{my.disclaimer}} and it doesn't convert to text in the template but when I create an email it populates because the email is under the global folder.  Does that make sense?
