We have two thought-leadership engagement programs that are extremely similar in nature - four streams, the same number of emails in each, and email content is almost mirrored. One is for a very specific group of prospects and one is for that same group, but when they become clients. However, there are pieces of priviledged information that are left out of the program geared towards prospects, and using dynamic content didn't quite solve the whole separation problem, so we built two programs. I need to be able to transfer leads and start them at the exact place they left off.
Right now, we have the ability to add leads to an Engagement Program and start them at the top of a specific stream. I would like to take this one step further and choose the point at which they start in the stream.
Example:
1) Lead receives Email 3 in Stream 2 of Engagement Program A
2) Data value changes: Prospect -> Client
3) Trigger campaign fires and adds lead to Engagement Program B, Stream 2, Email 4
The only solution that seems possible is replacing all the assets with programs and further controlling the sends with smart lists (leads would start at the beginning of the stream and be filtered out as they moved down through the programs until they qualified for one). This is a bit unrealistic as the re-build would take a long time, but it seems it's our only option right now.
