Ability to update the Auto-suggest values for the State attribute.

Ability to update the Auto-suggest values for the State attribute.

By default in Marketo, the Auto-suggest values for the attribute State are set to abbreviated values and it is not possible to update the picklist values. Currently when using the State attribute all we see is this default list and the auto-suggest will not display any other existing values. It is possible to manually populate the State attribute with values and it will filter by these explicit values, but It would be great if there was a way to update these auto-suggest values so that in the case that the State values that exist in the Lead Database (Example: “California” instead of ‘CA’) would show up as a selectable value in the auto-suggest of the attribute filter.

Hi Sean,

I recommend bringing the field up in the form editor, then copy and paste the list of picklist values into notepad. Then just change the first value of each in the list to be what you want it to be (for example "AK::AK" becomes "Alaska::AK"). Then save this document for future use. You can then just copy and paste the changed list into the values field in the form editor.

Thanks Grant, this is a great solution in regards to the form editor. The idea I am suggesting however is specifically for the auto-suggest values in the attribute filter for a smart list.
