Ability to Specify Which MSI Emails go in SFDC vs the Outlook Plug-In

There are two major differences between MSI in SFDC and MSI in Outlook.  1) In Outlook there are no folders to organize the emails and 2) In Outlook the email tokens don't resolve.

Also for my company 3) In Outlook, the email server appends an email signature to the bottom of every email.

Therefore, the Outlook plug-in would be more useful if we could create versions of the email templates specifically for Outlook and leave other emails unavailable in Outlook. This would help 1) Keep the Outlook email templates to a minimum for better organization and 2) ensure sales reps don't send the wrong artwork or artwork with tokens through Outlook.

I totally agree!  It's dangerous having all of the templates available in Outlook.  Also, it would be nice to be able to differentiate between emails sent via SFDC vs. Outlook, which I've been meaning to create an Idea for and will do it today!

I would very much like this capability. Since there is no token support in Marketo Outlook Add-In emails, it would be nice to have the ability to publish a Sales Template to either MSI or Outlook. This way, we can publish non-token versions to Outlook, saving our reps time to remove tokens. We almost exclusivley used a marketing approved message in a tokenized sales template inside MSI.

I just have two root folders - MSI and Outlook.  Each template gets created for each folder, one with tokens, one without.
