Cooking with my Mom is probably my favorite tradition followed closely by eating all of that delicious food. It's about spending time with family, watching a Christmas movie and eating leftovers for days!
Turkey, my dad's recipe for stuffing, rice cooked in tasty turkey drippings, homemade cranberries, cucumber salad, homemade gravy, hot rolls, lots of great wine, a prayer and then chaos:) And, men napping, women doing dishes and football in the mix.
My family substitutes green chile for gravy, and it makes for the best meal ever. Yumm.
