I'm using Marketo connector on tray.io to populate custom activity field's data for connected program members and getting issue with dates. I'm sending two dates in same format in "create custom activity" api as below:
I have changed the Timezone from My Account > location settings and Admin > Location > default location settings. Now Activity Date is in changed timezone but activity details popup is still showing Registered At in Central Daylight Time (America/Chicago, GMT-05:00) timezone .
Please help me to sync Registered At date timezone in required timezone.
If you want to change the subscription's Default timezone, then you'd have to go to Admin > Location > TimeZone. For changing the timezone for just your Marketo user, you can go to Admin > My Account > Location Settings > Time Zone. The subscription time zone is what is used for the reports in the Analytics section -- so all users see the same date/time range and the same data. I think since you've just changed your user's time zone to CDT and not the subscription's time zone, that could be potentially the reason why you're seeing time in a different format. At other places in the subscription, e.g., the email send time is based on the user's time zone preference in case they have a different timezone set for their account than the one set for the subscription.
