Hi,
I need your help with something: we have integration between Salesforce and Marketo. We want to know for each contact / lead how many emails he opened, clicks, etc.
When activities will start happening on Marketo, will the Marketo Activity Log info of a contact / lead will appear on Salesforce ?
If so, where can we see it? Will it also be available on Salesforce reports?
Thanks,
Guy

Hi Guy,
No, it won't and you would not like it if it would (too many info, very quickly hundreds per lead/contact). What you need is some sort of summarized info.
You can have some of the activities be logged as tasks, using admin->salesforce->sync options. See Marketo and SFDC Sync Options
IMHI, the real thing for this is using sales insight. You may also create some interesting moments in Marketo that will appear in Marketo Sales Insight, together with email summary, page visit summary and score changes.

Hey Guy, in addition to what Greg mentioned, you can put a link to the Marketo Activity log of an individual on the contact or lead layout:
Per Dory Viscogliosi
Be sure (depending on instance) that it hooks to either production of Sandbox.
We've had instances where we backup SFDC prod to sandbox and have 'broken' the link....
So, it is especially critical to ensure that if you backup to your SFDC Sandbox that your link goes to the appropriate instance!
