Will changing list selections in drop down field affect mapping data to SFDC?

Greetings!

I would like to edit the list of selections in a drop down field in my Marketo form. There are often too many selections and some that I would like to add.

If I remove some of the selections and add some new ones, how would that affect what gets mapped over from Marketo to SFDC for that field?

If it's a text field or unrestricted picklist, doesn't matter what's stored in the field in Marketo. It'll always sync over to SFDC.

Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

To be clear, it seems like a better form-filling experience by presenting curated choices (need-specific or reduction in choices), instead of a large generic list to choose from.

Of course. There’s no reason to show the same list on every form or in all contexts.

Thank you, Sandy.

Also, caught one of your podcast interviews. Very interesting & helpful.
