why is marketo so eye-stabbingly slow?

Can someone update me with a timeframe for when the speed of Marketo is supposedly going to be 1 million times better?

These 5 minute jobs are taking over an hour, everytime something has to be edited, i.e. an email or a form it takes 5mins to open then click done/save we get the 'refresh your browser' message which takes another 5 mins to refresh each time.

The most recent one i get is just a purple screen with nothing on it, not even a friendly owl.

The refresh message i get is this, Forms2.0 is the main culprit, you literally can't do anything without these messages appearing on open/save/approve
