Suppose a program features 2 streams- one called Active and the other Inactive, each with 5 emails.

Suppose a lead was transitioned from Inactive to Active after getting 3 emails within Inactive stream.

After a week he becomes inactive and we pull him back to Inactive stream in order to activate him

Will he get email 4 or start all over again from email #1?

tx in advance

Nope. He'll never recieve the same email. So if you drop a new email to the top of the stream, that will be the first email he'll receive when he moves back to that stream but then from there he'd skip down to the next email he hadn't received yet (which was in this case originally email 4 but now it's 5th in the stream).

STREAM INACTIVE:
1. email 1
2. email 2
3. email 3
4. email 4*
5. email 5

STREAM INACTIVE:
1. new email << He'd start here
2. email 1
3. email 2
4. email 3
5. email 4* << Then jump down to this one
6. email 5

If they are removed from Nurture program A - Stream 1 and then added back to Nurture program A - Stream 1 they will not get that same content the already received.

Is that what you mean?

actually I have another question if you don't mind, does the same rule apply if a user has been removed from a program and then added again to the same stream?

so I guess he will start from Email #4, regardless of the content?
suppose I add another email to the beginning of the stream, our user will get email #3 (which is now email #4) again, right?

He wouldn't get the 3 he already received. So if the email order stayed unchanged, he'd start at email 4.
