What is the Custom Layout Designer?

In Admin>Field Management. Can't find anything to explain what this is?

Molly Shotwell​ the Custom Layout Designer allows you to modify the first tab that shows up when you look at an individual lead record. You should add certain fields you will look at often. Here's the product documentation on it.

If only you could add sections, headers or spacing to this page it would be a lot more helpful. Anyone have any tips on doing that?

I have a simple, yet disapointing tip: you cannot do that

you can only drop fields in 2 columns, that’s all.

maybe when the Sky interface is released also on this part of Marketo, this type of évolutions will be possible. In fact I think we would need much more than adding sections , headers or spaces, we would need to be able to build a complete lead overview dashboard, with also some graphs summarizing the activity of the person and the evolution; of the scoring on a timeline, summarized reactivity by channel and a recap of interesting moment, plus the possibility to add buttons To trigger actions, all this is a screen which layout could be changed easily.

there are quite a few ideas in the community to vote for.
