Wait Step in Flow

Hi All,

This may be a very basic question but want to check before I make any changes. I am running a program that has a target audience pulling leads in every 24 hours after their data value has changed. I would like for the email to not send to these leads until 5 days after they were added to the Target audience. Will a wait step before the email send suffice or do I need to do something in the target audience? I just want to make sure the wait step will send to the leads that were in the target audience 5 days ago. Any insight will help. Thank you in advance

Right now:

Smart List (Target Audience)

 - Data value changed to X in past 24 hours

Flow:

- change program status

-wait?

-send email

Re: Wait Step in Flow

The Wait step will apply to everyone who entered the flow, counting from the moment they hit the Wait step.

So if you’re calling that cohort your “Target Audience” and never deliberately removing anybody from the flow — then yes, it will apply to all those people.

Not sure what case you’re worried about?
