Has anyone had any issues with the "Email Opt-Out" option in SFDC not updating when someone unsubscribes from a Marketo email?
I've gone back through the past few campaigns we've launched, and none of the folks who unsubscribed as marked as email opt-outs in SFDC. I checked the Admin settings and the fields are mapped; it just looks like it may not be syncing properly.
...Are you using the out-of-box unsubscribe from/page that came with your instance of Marketo? Maybe check the activity log of the people that were unsubscribing andlook for the activity "Data Value Changed" Unsubscribed - New Value = True...This is the Marketo field that is mapped to Salesforce...
Yup, I'm using the Unsubscribe page that was designed for the system. It looks like it used to work and is just an issue that appeared in October. Here's what one of the recent unsubscribed lead's Activities looks like:
Seems like the fail is happening when Marketo tries to sync the Interesting Moment to SFDC. We don't have MSI installed yet, so I'm not sure what else could have happened to break the sync recently.
