We are currently building a campaign which has an active trigger in the smart list. We realized that there are a couple of leads that fell out of that campaign and now we are cloning it and turning it in a "requested campaign". As the campaigns will be both live in the same time, can we use the same email assets?

I'm not exactly sure what do you mean by "fell out of campaign"? Does that mean that leads didn't qualify for the SL even though you expected the leads to qualify? And, now to fix that you want to run the same campaign flow step(s) for those two leads by cloning the existing campaign, swapping the trigger with the Campaign is Requested, and requesting the cloned campaign for both the leads. Is this the correct understanding?
If so, multiple campaigns' flow can use and reference the same email asset - I don't see any harm in doing so.
