Tracking issue with Outlook plug in and Salesforce.com

When I send an email via the outlook plug-in to a sales lead that exists in our salesforce.com instance, the open and clicks are not showing up in the Sales Insights box in the lead record. I thought they would appear in the "Email" tab of the Sales Insights box.

Anyone know what the fix is for this? Or is tracking not available from the outlook plug-in to Sales Insights inside of salesforce?

I'm having the same problem.  I'm not sure which mandatory upgrade this is referring to or what I have to do to upgrade.
