We have an occasional issue where an email comes to an all-purpose inbox ('admissoins@...') but the From: email address is somehow being routed through that same email address (i.e. From john@johndoe.com To :john@johndoe.com.) We have no idea who sent it or how to reply back to them. Any suggestions on how we might be able to find the original sender's email address?
Am I reading it right? This is very odd, can you go to one of those emails, check message header Message headers - Gmail Help and post a screenshot in here?
