Re: Sync between Sales Force and Marketo isn't happening for a particular field, any ideas?

I updated 200+ records and added country to them in SalesForce but the data hasn't transferred into Marketo, even though that field has a 2 way API between Marketo and Sales Force.

Hey Sanaa,

Does your Marketo Sync user have visibility on this field in SFDC?  For Enterprise, you can check by going to Setup>Manage Users>Profiles>[Synch User Profile]>Field-Level Security.  Check that it's visible for both leads and contacts.

It has been days. I am more familiar with updating leads and contacts through the Sales Force Data Uploader than I am with Marketo. I am very new to Marketo. Would I be able to just import this list in Marketo and not have new records but just have the country updated?

How long has it been? Sometimes it takes a bit to update. 

Also, I would recommend updating from Marketo to Salesforce; this sync tends to happen a bit faster for me.
