We are in the process of migrating our customers from one support system to the SFDC Support Cloud. In order to do so, we are sending out an email and direct mail piece asking customers to update their information; however, we don't necessarily want that information to sync to SFDC.
That said, if they're already in SFDC, we'd like to still have their Contact ID attributed to the updated record to make our future lives easier. Once the campaign is completed, we will take the list of form submissions and import them to SFDC.
Is there a way to have people complete the form and not update their SFDC record? I don't want to break our sync, nor do I want to suppress updates on a field-by-field basis because we have other campaigns running. I just want to handle all form completions in its own Smart List and export them afterward.
Is there a way to do this? Or does anyone have a better idea on how to handle this?
