Social Media buttons not showing in Outlook

I added some social media images and links in the footer of one of our templates but it's not acting correctly. It looks correct in Marketo and in my Gmail, but in Outlook the buttons (images) are just black boxes and they shift all to the left (they were right-aligned).

Ideas as to why this is happening?

Check the HTML of your email/template.  Look for the <img src> tags for the social media icon images--if there is a space between the first quote and the beginning of the URL, delete it.

Wrong: <img src=" http:// . . . 
Right: <img src="http:// . . .  

I've found that in editing emails and inserting images, sometimes an extra space is inserted by Marketo's email editor.  The image still shows up just fine in the editing tool (and in Gmail), but I had the exact same problem with email images in outlook.

Thanks for the reply. Is there anything else I can try? I made sure I didn't have extra spaces and it still looks fine in the editor nd gmail but looks like the below image in Outlook... These are all png files so I'm not sure what's up with it?
